Grand Rapids Comic Con
In browsing the web, I had found that there was a comic con in Grand Rapids this past weekend. As I investigated the schedule, I found that the R2D2 Builders Club was doing a presentation. Of course I had to make the drive to see what they had!
While there, I even saw a 3D printed BB-8 that was really good. I’m thinking when I’m done with R2, I’d like to make a static BB-8.
So I think the trip was well worth it. I had never see a completed droid in person prior to this. I also got to talk to a few great guys that answered a few questions I had. The things I learned there will undoubtedly help me in my build. I hope they do it next year as well….
