Pie Panel #4
From my earlier post, you saw the issues I had with printing pie panel #4 with the Prusa brand ABS. I tried again with the Hobbyking ABS and it printed well. Below, the three right panels are the Prusa brand and the Hobbyking is on the left. It may just be an issue tweaking the settings, but I seem to have it figured out on my new filament.
Speaking of settings, if I haven’t mentioned it, I’m using a .3 mm layer height, which Mr. Baddeley recommended. I’m printing the Hobbyking ABS at 240 C. I slice with the Prusa edition of Slic3r. I’d love to give Simplify3D a try, but I’m hesitant to spend the $150 for the software…
