Printing panels

My Hobbyking order of 2 Kg’s of white ABS finally arrived.  There are 16 panels that need to be printed on this design.  I spent most of the week printing them.  There are a few panels with holes that create large bridges for the printer to span.  As you can see below, I printed the part on the right without supports.  The part on the left turned out so much better.  This was the Hobbyking ABS printed with supports.  It turned out great.  I may re-print pie panel #4 with supports to get a better quality part.

I must say that I never really appreciated the differences between brands of filament, but this cheap stuff overall prints much better than the more expensive stuff.  Lesson learned I guess.

This next week I plan on getting the remaining dome parts printed.  More to follow…
