Each ring consists of 7 individual pieces.  I acetone welded each ring together.  In order to make sure they were seated correctly, I assembled it with the dome and welded one seam at a time.  Each joint had a little play in it that would allow it to be distorted instead of a circle, so this method seemed to ensure it went together correctly.

I should note that I placed some painters tape between each ring so I wouldn’t accidentally acetone weld them together. After that, I started the sanding process…
