Dome assembly!
When I painted my dome, it didn’t occur to me to tape off any of the points of contact between the dome and the panels. I had to come back with some sand paper and remove the paint to make sure the acetone weld would work.
I also bought some silver leaf buff n rub and coated the dome. It does improve the look of the finish.
My method of attaching the panels was to put them in place and then weld them from the back. I tacked them in a few different places on each panel.
Next up is to figure out exactly where and how I’m going to attach the radar eye…
